Shooting

In order to make this method effective, you can start by imitating the sound of the injured prey or replicating the howl of the coyote. Sounds like this can attract them. This is highly effective in areas where there is a large population of Coyotes. When shooting them, it requires some skill since they are agile creature.

Protection Collars
Protection collars are attached in the neck of the target like sheep and goats. Once the coyote attempted to bite the neck of the prey, the collar will release a lethal dose of sodium fluoroacetate. Attaching the collar is relatively easy. Nonetheless, the compound 1080 is known to be lethal. The applicator of the collar needs to be licensed and certified.
