What are some ways to kill a raccoon in the yard?

People deal with the raccoon in different ways and these ways differ both from where the raccoon has made its nest (probably with its babies) as well as from where it is making most of the damage (when looking for food, for example. Raccoons are excellent in scavenger hunt but this means lots of mess and makes people angry and it is understandable that they will want to get rid of raccoons. This is especially visible in raccoon are making mess in the yard or garden-in this situation people really want to kill them to prevent them from making further damage in their backyard and garden. There are several ways to deal with raccoons in the yard.

Live traps
Live traps are effective solution. There is open entrance to the cage with the bait inside and once a raccoon enters to get the bait, entrance door will shut down and raccoon will be trapped. These traps are very successful and we only recommend that you check them often so that you learn about captured raccoon as soon as possible, so that you can kill them immediately, without causing any unnecessary fear or suffering for the animal. Also, when approaching the cage to kill a raccoon, don't ever get your fingers near the animal, because a raccoon has long and thick nails, powerful grip and teeth. It can seriously harm you, so keep your fingers safe. Wild animals are not the ones that can be kept as pets in homes. These are also not allowed to be entered in homes, attic, or any place where the human are to move about. This is just because of the threats and dangers which is caused by the wild animal’s presence.

Lethal grip traps
This kind of traps is also very effective in killing a raccoon in the yard. It also includes the bait that is connected to the spring which then releases a wire (when a raccoon takes the bait) that falls over raccoon's neck or body. This spring mechanism and a wire will effectively harm and kill an animal in most of the cases, preventing any unnecessary pain and suffering. Only in rare cases, if spring gets jammed or is slow, it can happen that it will trap raccoon's leg and harm a raccoon without killing it. This a reason why it is good to check these traps often, just as previously mentioned live traps.
