When it comes to killing the animal lawfully, there are many limitations of doing so such as using the gunshot or using a blunt object, may lead to the charges because of the cruelty to the animals.

It is always good if you can talk to the animal or wildlife control to know what it is taking place before you decide to kill the raccoons. If you are in the city that was designed to be a wildlife sanctuary, it can be prohibited to kill raccoons.
